Jörð Garden

Jörð Garden is a charrette project that is focused on urban neighborhood recycling improvement in the city of Copenhagen.

The name comes from the Norse mythology. Jörð is the mother of Thor and the personification of the earth. The wordmark was inspired by the Troll Cross—an ancient Norse symbol used as a protection against trolls and elves.

This illustration is the extension of the branding work. I interviewed all my team members after the charrette and asked them to use five words in their own languages to describe this international experience. In the end, I created this very vertically long illustration to commemorate our time together.
